One in three South Dakota children will be lost to abortion.

That is an amazing statistic that most people have not heard.  According to statistics from the Department of Health, those are the numbers.  Nationally, their are about 500 abortions for every 100,000 people.  If you apply those numbers to South Dakota (824,042 in the most recent census), it would mean the state loses 4,120 children each year to abortion.  That’s over 11 babies every day!!   

Abortion providers report between 600 and 800 a year.  I don’t believe their statistics.  Abortionists, and Planned Parenthood are notorious for “under-reporting” the actual numbers.  Additionally, many women choose to leave the state to abort their children.  Minneapolis, Billings and Denver are some of the most frequent choices.
